A Bouquet with Thanks!

Hello to all.
Its time for a new 'Anything Goes' challenge at Lemon Shortbread.
Its fabulous to see so many of you joining us for the challenge.
This sweet image is Hat Bouquet Girl coloured with Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and Polychromos pencil detail.

I have a lot of card and embellishments which I have had for a quite a while.   For this DT project I used some foiled card, some Kanban embossed card and soft purple layers.  All of these have been in my stash for ages.
The ribbon trim is new and I have used pearls and die cut butterflies from Joanna Sheen.

 Happy crafting fun to all!

You can visit the Lemon Shortbread Challenge here.
You don't have to use a Lemon Shortbread image to enter the challenge, but it would be fabulous if you did.

Sunflower Love!

Hello lovely people.  I hope you are getting to enjoy some of the lovely weather we have been having in the UK!
I have not been crafting or on the internet much over the last week.
We have been off out and about and had a lovely time.

I have managed to do some colouring in the evenings and would like to share this cute image from Coloriage Wild.  The image is coloured with pencils, with touches of white gel detail.
The background is various distress inks and a spot stencil.
I am pleased with the shaby/chic look created.

Happy crafting fun to all!

Sunshine on a Rainy Day!

Hello to all.
Its time for a new 'Anything Goes' challenge at Lemon Shortbread.
This cute image Polka Dot Raincoat reminded me so much of my eldest daughter as a young child.

The image is coloured with polychromos pencils and has a distress ink sky.
Various designer papers and die cuts have been used to create the detail.

This sweet picture of my daughter wearing a similar outfit, was taken when she was 2 years old.
She was so cute and really brought sunshine to a rainy day - she still does!

Hello to all.  I have had so much fun recently colouring and creating with the beautiful images from Emmanuelle Colin.  This sweet image is no exception.
Lots of different colouring products were used to produce the depth and tones for this project.
I decided to go with the water nymph theme and give her green skin.
It looks really lovely in real life!

Materials list:
Sweet image from Coloriage Wild
Faber Castell Polychromos pencils
Spectrum Noir markers, ColourBlend pencils and Artliners
White gel pen detail
Coredinations Cardstock

In Days of Old!

Hello to all.  I have been pencil colouring again!
This is one of the fabulous images from the Coloriage Wild pad by Emmanuelle Colin.
These are such a favourite!

The girl reminds me of a medieval princess from a fairy tale, perhaps with a prince turned into a beautiful bird?
Colouring is polychromos pencils, with a little white gel pen detail.
The background is painted and splattered (toothbrush technique) with distress inks to create a vintage feel.
I added a few sequins.

Image was mounted onto Core'dinations card and then onto a kraft card layer to create a CAS card.

This project was so enjoyable to colour and create.  I hope you like it too!

Happy crafting fun to all!
